No internet since I last emailed you, but Scott was able to get it to work today. Please let everyone know that Lili is doing better, but still crying a lot. She sleeps through the night fine.
She goes to bed about 8:30 or 9, and sleeps til 6, so that is wonderful!!! But when she is awake, she is very very persistent in her tantrums. It is definitely a combination between teething and wanting her own way--but we can't even figure out what it is she wants!! Anyway, we were able to get her a stroller at Walmart yesterday (she is 21 pounds of dead weight), and she liked going on a walk. She just does not like being inside. ugh.
Keep praying. We are off to breakfast. She is a GOOD eater!!!
Lili didn't fuss much this morning when she woke up (gave her her bottle pretty quickly, which helped), didn't eat much breakfast but sat through the whole meal, hasn't had a fit yet this morning (but still whimpering and a bit of fussing), and has been playing with Lauren a bit.
It is so smoggy here, but cold--it is irritating our throats and giving us all a cough. yuck.
Thanks to EVERYONE for the prayers. PLEASE keep them coming. We fly to Guangzhou tomorrow--will be Lili's first plane ride. I am SOOOOO not looking forward to 14 hours on a plane to DC with a screaming baby. (actually, 2 hours to Seoul, 14 hours-ish to Atlanta, and another hour or two home. yikes!!!!)

ReplyDeleteWe missed you so much yesterday as we sat in GRACE small group looking at all those toddler toys! You've been on my mind and, of course, on the mind of some many at church.
I'll pray that she will overcome this well-spring of emotion and feel the love and safety she needs to settle down and be your Lili.
